What we collect

Information you provide

If you email us or submit a form (for example on the contact, network, or guide download pages), we receive the details you choose to send, typically name, email, company, and message content. We use that information to respond to your enquiry, deliver requested downloads, and manage related follow-up.

Website analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (for example pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser type, and referral source). Analytics cookies are not loaded until you accept.

Essential storage

We store your cookie preference in your browser’s local storage so we can remember Accept or Decline. Theme preferences, if you use them, are stored the same way. These are not used for advertising.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies on this site.

Your choices

You can Accept or Decline analytics cookies via the banner on first visit. You can change your mind anytime using Cookie settings in the site footer. Declining means Google Analytics will not load on subsequent visits.

You can also clear site data in your browser, which removes stored preferences and analytics cookies.

Legal bases

Where UK GDPR applies: we rely on consent for analytics cookies, and on legitimate interests (or contract, where relevant) to respond to enquiries you send us. Under PECR, non-essential cookies are only set after consent.

Processors

Google processes analytics data on our behalf when you consent (see Google’s privacy policy). Network enquiry forms and guide download requests may be processed by Formspree and protected with Google reCAPTCHA where configured. Those providers process data under their own terms.

Retention

Enquiry emails and form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any related correspondence. Analytics retention follows our Google Analytics property settings. Consent preferences stay in your browser until you clear them or change your choice.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@tyedal.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the revised policy.
